It has been a long time since I last posted anything. Josh is doing great in Chili, he arrived there around the 24 of August. He has a Chilean companion. The language is slowly coming.
On Sept 24, I caught a big German brown on the river about 2 miles upstream from the house, We took its picture with a cell phone camera and turned it loose, we estimate it to have been about 12-14 pounds. Great Fun! Kathy and I are both very busy lots of meetings, school work and such. Seems like there is not enough time to do everything that needs to be done. Have had a beautiful crop of sunflowers this year, I use this picture as a screen saver.
I must mention the thousands of Lady Bugs that we have had at our home this year I take pictures of them and send them to Cornell University who is conducting a research project on kinds and distribution. In August Kathy Jo and I went with the youth from our stake to Martins Cove, it was a wonderful experience to spend the time with the youth of our stake. We pulled handcarts for 14 miles one day and it really brought home in a small way the difficulty the saints had in getting across the plains and the great faith they had.
