Spring Cleaning

This is Josh standing behind all the grass he raked off the lawn Saturday, March 29. Rulan lost count of how many loads of grass were dumped. The voles really chewed up our lawn this year - Rulan is out for revenge (many have already met their demise).

This is a great picture! The nieghbors we feeding them and I snapped off a few pictures of them.

When we were in Boise a few weeks ago we stopped at RC Willey a furniture store and found two recliner chairs on sale buy one get one free plus a free end table. So we asked if they would deliver them to Idaho Falls and they said yes! So we bought them, and here I am enjoying one of the new chairs. We love them.

Kathy and I took a hike up to Cress Creek 2 weeks ago, there was still snow but the day was pleasant and it was good to get out, we were experiencing cabin fever.

Been a long time since I posted anything, with the failure of my hard drive it required more pictures. Today it is snowing and winter is indeed upon us. Becky made it home for the holidays last night just ahead of the worst part of the storm. Josh is loving being out of school and so is Kathy Jo. I on the other hand have to work! Wo is me! Some pictures of the back yard my favorite photo op. nice change in the scenery since last time.

During Thanksgiving I kept a tradition alive and made a Lemon Pie, and a Chocolate Pie, they turned out very well, I also made potato rolls which turned out to look like Peeps.

Kathy Jo told me it would happen but I knew I could do better and thus you see the results. So yes you were right Kathy Jo!

Beautiful Morning

Another beautiful picture from the sun coming up early saturday morning.

Josh came down saturday and we decided to take advantage of a break in the weather and go fishing. The fishing was great but the catching was poor. Kathy bought me a new fishing reel for my Birthday, and I have yet to catch a fish on it, (have been only once). Well I gave Josh my new reel to try and what does he do? Catch the only fish of the day.
